Remember crafting freely when you were a kid? Sips & Scribbles is an event for adults that want to feel that magic again! At this event you’ll create and decorate cards and write letters to your loved ones, future you, whoever you want! Come with a friend or make new ones. This event will be a chill time to destress, craft, and have a lot of fun! 

Details: Saturday, September 7th 5-7pm.

What comes with my ticket?

📓(1) $5 voucher to use for drinks and desserts on The Bean Flowers’ menu (voucher ticket option only)

🌈 ALL Journaling + collage supplies (think: magazines, newspapers, scrap pictures, scrapbooking papers, construction paper, misc pictures, fabric, lace, buttons, ribbons, postcards/art prints, loose book pages, stickers, scissors, glueing options, and other cute stuff)

📫Yes! I’ll have pre-made, blank cards/envelopes as well as card stock if you choose to make your own cards/envelopes.

Who are you?

Hey, I’m Marina, a multi media artist & event coordinator based in Durham, NC. I’ve felt a pull to host my own events centered on connection, expression, & inner child healing. You will be part of my Sips & Scribbles events which are so special ✨

 

Do I have to bring anything?

Bring anything that will make your crafting experience more comfortable! BTWs, space is limited on the tables <3

What’s the parking situation like?

The Bean Flower is located in a plaza with plenty of parking! 

What’s the dress code?

There isn’t one! Come in whatever makes you comfy…shorts, tank top, full Bratz outfit, you do you!

Are drinks included with my ticket?

Yes-ish! The $5 voucher included with the $40 ticket can be used for drinks!

Why should I attend this event?

This event will be centered on artistic expression & reflection. What would you want future you to read? You can also write letters to loved ones or journal freely :). The materials will be available to you regardless and the only rule is to enjoy yourself! 

Why do you host Sips & Scribbles for adults?

So you can do something that makes your soul happy, forget your long to-do list, meet new people, take time for yourself, get out of the house, craft in community…the list goes on!

Can I order me & my friends TX all at once?  

Heck yeah! 

What is the refund policy?

Since this is a ticketed event, refunds won’t be available a week before the event. If your plans change before 8/31/25, contact me for a refund! If you can’t make it the week of, you’ll forfeit your spot without a refund.
