Sips & Scribbles is a crafting party for adults centered on expression of emotions & connection with community through art. It is a space for us to forget our to do lists and have unfiltered fun like when we were kids!

All materials provided. 18+. BYO beverage if you’d like to sip on your favorite drink while you scribble!

Walking up 4 stair steps is necessary to enter the building

Themes are optional, you can create whatever you desire! Bring your journal if you plan to work out of it :) 

What‘s included with my ticket?

• One blank canvas

• All journaling/ collage materials 

• Coloring supplies: colored pencils, crayons, markers

Who are you?

Hey, I’m Marina, a multi media artist & event coordinator based in Durham, NC. I host events centered on connection, expression, and community. You will be part of my Sips & Scribbles events which are so special ✨

What’s a junk journal?

“A handmade book filled with personal and recycled materials to store memories and ideas. Like its name implies, the pages are filled with material that's usually thrown away…” Source (also find inspo pics & items list). 

I’m calling it a [junk] journaling party to encourage you to journal with treasured junk. But it‘s also a scrapbooking party, collaging party, journaling party- whatever you want! The only rule here is to have fun & enjoy yourself!

I already have a journal, can I bring it?

Yes! Journals are not provided at this event.

Do I have to bring anything?

I’m providing a full craft buffet but feel free to bring items that will heighten your crafting experience.

What’s the parking situation like?

Parking on the street in front of Outerloops is free! There’s also a parking lot, but please be mindful to not block bay doors (green garage doors).

What’s the dress code?

There isn’t one! Come in whatever makes you comfy…shorts, tank top, full Bratz outfit, you do you!

Are drinks included with my ticket?

Nope! Please bring your favorite drink if you’ll be sipping on something while scribbling. 

Why do you host Sips & Scribbles for adults?

So you can forget your long to-do list, meet new people, take time for yourself, get out of the house, and do something that makes your soul happy.

Can I order me & my friends TX all at once?  

Heck yeah! 

What is the refund policy?

Since this is a private ticketed event refunds won’t be available. If your plans changes, message me via  instagram or email.
